If two or more classes of a year have a subject with the same subject code, then the subject is only listed once when scheduling the exams, but the exam is created individually for both subjects.

1. At the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Academics > Examination > Exam Management to open the Create Exam page.

2. In the top right, click the Year-wise Exam button.

3. Select a year and respective classes.
   

    In the Exam name field, enter the name of the exam.

    In the Exam type field, select the grading type from the following options:

• Marks – Display only marks in the reports.

• Grades – Display only grades in the reports.

• Marks and Grades – Display both marks and grades in the reports.

4. Click the Save button.

5. Enter the maximum and minimum marks for all subjects.

    Note: If you have selected Grades as the exam type, you will not need to enter the maximum and minimum marks.

6. Specify the start time and end time for each subject examination.

7. Select the Do not create a checkbox for subjects that are not to be included in the examination schedule.

8. Click the Save Changes button.

   Go to each class (module access icon > Academics > Examination > Exam Management > Select the year> click on a class), and then click  Publish exam schedule to publish the exam schedule. If you want to remind the students later again that the exam schedule was published then click Resend SMS notification.
