How librarian can set maximum number of books Issued to a student?

A librarian can set maximum number of books issued to a student using the Library Settings option. In Library Setting you will be able to set the maximum number of books that can be issued to the students based on their category. Students under some category might have privilege to have more books than others. This setting can be done from here. A user can set the maximum number of books that can issued for a particular year, time period for the book and the category of students. This can done by following the below given steps :
  1. At the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Academics > Library > Library setting to open the Library setting page.

  2. Select a year.

  3. Click the Add new button.


        


  1. In the Category field, select the student category.

  2. In the Books issuable field, enter the maximum number of books that can be issued.

  3. In the Time period field, enter the maximum number of days a book can be issued for.

  4. Click the Submit button.
