A PIN number is a unique fourteen digit number that can be generated and issued to applicants for online Year registration using the Applicant registration module.
To configure the pin-based Applicant registration the Admin or the privileged user has to follow the below steps:
Configure the Years Class setup for the new academic session for which Institute needs to start the Admission process.
The elective subjects need to be created inside the Classes and the Amount for electing those subjects needs to be specified by the Admin user for which student wants to apply for the Admission.
Configure the Magic Pins in the registration module settings.
Manage Pins option provides an Admin user to create a unique PIN number that can be issued to the students for the registration. Each student will be given a unique code with which he can register for a Year online.
Configure the Registration Year settings as specific Year wise in the Registration module settings option.
The specific Year wise setup is needed to be configured for using the PIN-based registration.
